Questions, answered

What VerifDoc is, how it keeps your account safe, how paying and refunds work, and the details of each service.

VerifDoc

What is VerifDoc?

VerifDoc is one account for VoIP phone numbers (Smart Dialer), non-VoIP numbers for SMS verification, business email addresses (VDocMail), a unified inbox for the email accounts you already have (Email Companion) and residential proxies, all paid from one prepaid balance.

Is VerifDoc safe to use?

Yes. The whole site runs over HTTPS, passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, you can turn on 2-step sign-in with an authenticator app, and the passwords of email accounts you connect are encrypted at rest. You pay from a prepaid balance, so no card details are ever stored, every charge is listed in Billing, and you can never be charged more than your balance. Spam, fraud and abuse are against our rules, and accounts that break them are closed.

Is VerifDoc legit?

Yes. VerifDoc is a working service at verifdoc.net: creating an account is free, every price is shown before you pay, and you only spend what you add to your balance. SMS verification codes that never arrive are refunded automatically, and support answers tickets from your dashboard or at [email protected]. Our terms forbid spam, fraud and abuse.

How do I pay?

Add credit to your balance with crypto (USDT or USDC on Solana or Ethereum) from the Billing page, from $5 a time, then every service is paid from that one balance. There are no long contracts: you only pay for what you choose.

Is there a free plan or a subscription?

Creating an account is free. Each service is pay as you go or a small monthly price, and nothing renews unless you choose a monthly service.

Can I get a refund?

SMS verification codes that never arrive are refunded automatically. For anything else, open a support ticket and we'll review it.

How do I get help?

Open a ticket from Support in your dashboard and chat with the team there, or email [email protected].

Do you keep my data private?

We only keep what the services need to work, never sell it, and explain everything in the privacy policy. Proxy traffic is counted by amount only, never by the sites you visit.

Smart Dialer

About Smart Dialer

What is a VoIP number?

A VoIP (voice over IP) number is a real phone number that works over the internet instead of a SIM card. People can call and text it like any other number, and you answer from your browser.

Do I need an app or a SIM card?

No. Smart Dialer works in any modern browser on a computer or phone. Allow microphone access once and you can make and take calls.

Will a VoIP number receive verification codes?

Some apps and banks refuse VoIP numbers for sign-up codes. For those, use SMS Verification, which gives you real mobile (non-VoIP) numbers.

Which countries can I get numbers in?

The US, Canada and Puerto Rico today, by area code. More countries open once the carrier's paperwork for them is approved, and the number search always shows exactly which countries you can get a number in right now.

Can I call emergency services?

No. Smart Dialer can't be used to call emergency services such as 911, so keep another phone for emergencies.

SMS Verification

About SMS Verification

What is a non-VoIP number?

A non-VoIP number is tied to a real SIM card and a mobile carrier, like the number on your own phone. Sites that block virtual numbers usually accept non-VoIP numbers for verification codes.

Why do apps reject VoIP numbers?

Many apps check the number type when you sign up and refuse internet numbers to reduce spam. A real mobile number passes that check.

What happens if no code arrives?

You're refunded automatically when the waiting time ends without a code, or right away if you cancel while waiting.

Can I use the same number again?

A one-time number is for one code from the service you picked. To keep receiving texts on the same number, rent it for as long as you need.

Is this allowed?

Use numbers for your own accounts and follow the terms of the services you sign up with. Using them for fraud or to create fake or bulk accounts isn't allowed.

Can I use my own domain?

Addresses are on the vdocmail.com domain today. You can create as many as you like and give each its own purpose.

What happens if an address isn't renewed?

It expires but is never given to someone else. Mail that arrives while it's expired is kept for six months and can be unlocked when you renew.

Can I forward mail to Gmail or Outlook?

Yes. Turn on forwarding for an address, confirm the destination with a code, and every email is copied there for 5¢ a month.

Email Companion

About Email Companion

How do I connect an account?

Choose the provider, enter the email address and an app password (or the account password where the provider allows it). The connection is checked before it's saved.

Are my email passwords safe?

The passwords and tokens of connected accounts are encrypted at rest and only used to show your mail and send what you ask. You can disconnect an account at any time.

What if I need more than 50 accounts?

Add another 50 for $10.00 a month or single accounts for $1.00 a month each, and you're only charged for the rest of the current month.

Residential Proxies

About Residential Proxies

What are residential proxies?

They route your traffic through IP addresses that internet providers assign to real homes, so sites see an ordinary home connection in the place you picked.

Can I choose a city or ISP?

Yes. Pick a country, then a state or city, and optionally an internet provider. If a place has no IPs at the moment, we show the closest places that do.

Does city or ISP targeting cost extra?

No. Many providers charge more per GB for city or ISP targeting, or sell it only on bigger plans. At VerifDoc it's included: $1.00 per GB whether you target a country, a city or an internet provider.

How is traffic counted?

Every byte in both directions counts toward your GB, the same way the network bills it. When your GB run out the proxy stops until you buy more.

Do you log the sites I visit?

No. We record how much traffic your login uses each day, not the sites you visit or what you send.

Which uses aren't allowed?

Spam (mail ports are blocked), attacks, fraud, card testing, credential stuffing and illegal content. Accounts that do this lose access without a refund.
